林恒，男，副研究员，硕士生导师。武汉大学细胞生物学专业获理学博士学位。在武汉大学完成博士后训练。曾任武汉大学医学研究院助理研究员。

课题组简介
主要从事炎症反应调控、抗病毒天然免疫信号转导以及炎症癌症转化的研究，揭示了翻译后修饰调控白细胞介素信号跨膜转导的精细的分子机制；阐述了一系列炎症反应及炎癌转化的分子调控机制；发现了多个调控DNA病毒所诱导的cGAS-MITA/STING信号转导的关键蛋白，为抗炎、抗病毒以及抗肿瘤药物的研发提供了候选靶标。在Immunity、Cell Host & Microbe、PNAS、Nature Communications、STTT、Cellular & Molecular Immunology以及PLoS Pathogens等期刊发表多篇论文。
